June 2026
Women-Only Chaabi Classes
Our monthly Chaabi sessions continued to grow, providing a culturally relevant space for women to move, connect and look after their wellbeing.
When Morocco plays, we come together 🇲🇦
June brought some of our biggest community moments yet.
Morocco World Cup Watch Parties
We hosted two FREE World Cup watch parties in collaboration with Stonegate, creating a space for the Moroccan community to come together, support the national team and celebrate our shared pride in Morocco.
Whether you came with friends or arrived on your own, the watch parties were a chance to meet people, make new friendships, share the nerves and celebrate every moment together.
Community Football Sessions
Our regular community football sessions continued, giving members a welcoming space to stay active, connect and build friendships through sport.
May 2026
Community 5K Run with Mo Kachach
We headed to Hyde Park for an energising 5K led by marathon runner and community advocate Mo Kachach.
After the run, everyone came together for brunch at Yeotown Kitchen — turning a morning of fitness into an afternoon of food, conversation and new connections.
Supporting Moroccan Sporting Talent
We partnered with 8 Strikes to support French-Moroccan boxer Ilias Krafi during his London fight, helping bring the community together to show their support for Moroccan sporting talent.
Bringing the community together through sport & culture
May was a busy one, filled with sports, art and supporting our wonderful and talented community members.
Eid Al-Adha with Lavish Concepts
We celebrated Eid at the Lavish Concepts Atelier in Chiswick as part of The Moroccan Edit, showcasing Moroccan and North African fashion, craftsmanship, design and heritage.
April 2026
Women-Only Chaabi Dance Class
Our monthly Chaabi sessions continued — and attendance grew from 11 to 20 participants, an 82% increase in engagement.
The response showed just how much our community values accessible, culturally relevant spaces where women can prioritise their wellbeing, connect with others and have fun.
Moving together, growing together
April saw our health and wellbeing programme really begin to grow.
Community Football at Powerleague Shoreditch
We also took to the pitch for a 5-a-side community football session, bringing people together through sport, teamwork and a little friendly competition.
And because community is about more than the activity itself, we shared traditional Moroccan sweets from a Moroccan small business with participants afterwards — bringing a little taste of Morocco to the evening.
March 2026
Eid Celebration at BAR’Z ART
We hosted an Eid celebration at the Moroccan-owned BAR’Z ART in Camden, welcoming members of the Moroccan community alongside Arab, Muslim and wider London communities.
The afternoon was about more than celebrating Eid. It was a chance to share our traditions, discover Moroccan culture, meet new people and support a new Moroccan-owned independent business.
From food and atmosphere to conversations and connections, it was a celebration of culture, community and the incredible diversity of London.
Celebrating Eid, together
March was all about celebrating Moroccan culture and bringing people together.
February 2026
Women-Only Chaabi Dance Class
Led by Moroccan dancer Soukaina Haddouche, our women-only Chaabi session created a space to dance, reconnect with Moroccan culture, build confidence and meet other women in the community.
Celebrating culture, creating connection
February brought us together through movement, culture and one of the most important times of the year: Ramadan.
Ramadan Iftar & Community Networking
We gathered at Soor Restaurant for an Iftar that brought together Moroccans, non-Moroccans and people from a wide range of cultural and professional backgrounds.
Over food and conversation, we shared the meaning of Ramadan, celebrated Moroccan culture and created connections across communities.
January 2026
5K Run at Battersea Power Station
Led by Moroccan athlete Jamal, our first community run of the year brought Moroccans and friends of Morocco together for a morning of movement, motivation and new connections.
Creating Lasting Smiles
We also came together with Mercy Humanitarian UK and King’s College London International Medical Graduates to support the Creating Lasting Smiles project, helping expand sustainable oral healthcare in underserved communities in Aghbar, Morocco.
Starting the year right…
We kicked off 2026 by getting active, getting together and creating space for the community to connect.
Community Zumba with Coach Nadia
We kept the energy going with a lively Zumba session led by Moroccan coach Nadia — combining music, movement and plenty of community spirit.
